Front End Designer/Illustrator (Part-time)

Replay Gaming is a UK social gaming company looking for a part-time (20hrs/week) Front-End Developer and Designer working remotely to help us grow our play money poker site, Replay Poker (


We are looking for an exceptionally talented Front End Designer/Illustrator, who can combine visual design with an extensive knowledge of HTML, CSS and Web / UX Design. You will be expected to be opinionated about design principles and user interaction. You will collaborate closely with the operation and tech teams to take charge of our visual identity, as well as build and design an exceptional web and mobile experience. As a UX designer you will be the voice of the user, ensuring the user experience is simple, intuitive and effective.


  • Responsible for overall design of the web interface; and future mobile app
  • Create A/B tests for the marketing site and landing pages
  • Production of creatives for advertising and social media
  • Design banners around our permanent and seasonal poker promotions
  • Assist with the graphic design of branded swag.
  • Advocating for your UI/UX design and interaction ideas through storyboards, user flows, and wireframes
  • Executing design at all stages from concept through to high fidelity designs
  • Building and maintaining our internal style guide
  • Collaborate with the operations and tech teams to define and implement solutions
  • Ingraining a design-driven culture throughout Replay Poker



  • At least 3 years of commercial development experience, or you're some kind of genius designer straight out of university
  • Advanced experience of HTML and CSS
  • Artistry skills and understanding of design and branding fundamentals
  • Understanding of responsive web design and best practices
  • You keep a close eye on UX design trends and patterns
  • Help shape and create digital design processes
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and to work alone with little or no supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships across teams
  • Flexible and adaptable. Positive can-do attitude in all situations
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal


  • Experience in gaming or digital entertainment
  • Interest in poker and/or online communities
  • Proficient Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
  • Experience with Sketch or any popular prototyping tools (Framer, Marvel, Invision, etc)
  • Experience working with data-driven insights and conducting user interviews to lead your design process
  • JavasScript, Git and SCSS experience a bonus
